Her word is her Bond.

goldengirlNot since Rylan opened a Poundstretcher in Dagenham has there been so much anticipation about a celebrity launching an event. It is at Her Majesty’s pleasure that we can announce that Shirley Eaton, the Bond girl who was famously coated in gold by Auric Goldfinger, will be opening our “Spongefinger” launch party in Les Ambassedeurs club on Park Lane,  London.

At 76, Shirley may have lost a few of the looks that put her on the cover of Life magazine but thanks to the rocketing gold market she’s now worth 4,700% more than she was in 1964.

We are especially priviliged to have pulled this off because rumour has it that next year The Westminster Collection are going to melt Shirley down to provide the “exquisite finish” on a commemorative bowler hat celebrating 50 years of Odd Job, so once again she’ll be gracing the pages of magazines but this time somewhere near the back next to the adverts for sheepskin slippers and walk-in bathtubs.

All we need now to do now is track down Moneypenny…
