The news from day four...

We planned an early start, aiming for Oslo via Denmark's land bridges and up through Sweden via Gothenburg. We were all set to leave at 9.00am - at 9.01am Chitty Chitty Bang Bang split a fuel pipe, at 9.02am is started to piss down...by 9.05am we were getting the impression that this trip was doomed but in Extreme Trifle tradition Dave performed another glorious bodge and several cups of coffee and 1 hour later we were on the road...

Starsky & Hutch perform aerobatics!!

• Starsky and Hutch meanwhile, still jealous of the Thunderbird 4 roll, decided to go one better. Rolling at speed they slid for 30ft down the road on the roof! Minor cuts and bruises were reported but both brain cells are still functioning - the car is looking slightly battered and no longer fits together! It's all on video so watch this space...

• The Delorean's exhaust has been finally fixed - having gone through 20 Stella cans, a more permanent repair was done with some steel tubing though they are now approximately half a day behind the main group.
• FAB1 lost it's only windscreen wiper somewhere on the motorway.
• Chitty Chitty Bang Bang lost its sunroof during some aerial filming!.

The Dukes of Hazzard's clutch arrives!

• Meanwhile a day ahead in Norway the Dukes of Hazzard proudly display their new clutch airmailed from the UK courtesy of WH Snell Motor Factors (THANKS!!!).

After another long day the teams finally arrive in Oslo and are not disappointed - a fabulous campsite overlooking Oslo city and no problems putting the tents up as it doesn't get dark until midnight here. Everyone is pleased to see the Duke Boys who are looking worse for wear after 36 hours of drinking but they still manage to go clubbing that night in Oslo with Starsky & Hutch and the Lady Penelopes...

At last all the teams are re-united again. The Delorean has caught up and the replacement Batmobile arrives with Tim and Sari in good spirits after a long drive to catch up. Tomorrow the teams head for Norway's 3rd largest city, Trondheim.

The big questions remains though...can we fix the General Lee?!
