The news from day two...Day two saw the teams aiming to reach Hamburg...it proved to be another catastrophic day for the cars and was not boding well for the rest of the trip since we we still on easy motorways... Because of the huge number of car problems we decided to push on as far as we could...in contrast to the Dutch the Germans were a little more reserved in their re-actions, there was some horn-tooting but this tended to be more of the "get out of my way you tossers" variety... More breakdowns!!!
After being shown the art of how to change gear without a clutch by Matt and Dave the Duke Boys decide to continue on - all is well on the motorways but mid-town traffic proves a different story with near death experiences by the bucket-load. After a tortuous day the teams finally roll and bump in to the German port of Keil in the early hours. Is this the end of the road for the Dukes of Hazzard..? |
